Product overview
The vertical lapper is a web-forming unit that stands the carded web up on its edge to build a thick, springy batt within a nonwoven production line. Its vertical structure gives high recovery, making it ideal for sofa cushions, mattresses, coir mattresses and other products that need strong resilience.
It erects the web vertically on a new folded-plate frame for stability, with an anti-static PVC apron at the infeed and a synchronous-belt-driven reciprocating motion for smooth running. The unit takes an input apron of 2700mm and delivers an output apron of 2900mm, at a spreading speed of ≤45m/min and power of 6.3kw.
