Overview

Product overview

A high-speed counter needle loom is a needle-punching machine used to produce high-density, high-quality nonwoven fabric by punching the fibre web from both sides on a needle-punch production line.

Two opposed needle boards punch simultaneously from above and below, bonding the fibres tightly and evenly on both faces to yield a dense, firm fabric suited to geotextiles, technical felt and premium backing fabric. A vertically balanced transmission on a stable framework keeps it smooth at a high frequency of 800–1200 punches/min, while a working width of 2000–9200mm and a needle density up to 5000–8300n/m per board (×2 boards) handle very high-density fabrics.

Vina Nonwoven is the authorized Zhentai representative in Vietnam: we help you choose the right width and needle density for your product, with local installation, maintenance and warranty.

Q & A

Frequently asked questions

How does the counter (opposed) needle loom differ from a regular high-speed needle loom?

It uses two needle boards that punch the web from both opposing sides, producing higher-density, higher-quality and more uniform needle-punched nonwovens than single-side punching.

How is needle density measured with two needle boards?

Needle density is 5000~8300n/m per board (n/m×2boards) — effectively double the punching density of a single-board machine at the same width.

What is the maximum machine width and needle frequency?

Machine width ranges 2000~9200mm, with needle stroke 30~60mm and needle frequency 800~1200s/min.

Is it stable at high speed with two opposed needle boards?

Yes — a vertically balanced needle-punching transmission on a stable framework, plus a large oil-tank main shaft with automatic lubrication and cooling, ensures smooth, durable operation even at high speed.
