Zhentai Pre-Opener
Pre-opens fiber bales at the head of the nonwoven line and feeds the next stage by fan — integrated cast frame, even feeding and a strong magnet that removes metal debris.
Drafts the needled web to optimise MD:CD uniformity before finish needling — draft ratio set precisely under PLC control.
The drafter is a web-forming unit that stretches the needled web to optimise its lengthwise (MD) and crosswise (CD) uniformity before finish needling within a nonwoven production line. This balances the MD:CD ratio, improving fabric strength and dimensional stability.
It is driven by an independent variable-speed motor or a servo unit under PLC control, which sets the draft ratio precisely through fine-tuning and master calibration, while the upper roller lifts independently to adjust the inter-roller gap. The machine comes in 2200~7200mm widths, with draft ratios of 1:1~1:3 (5-group), 1:1~1:3.6 (7-group) and 1:1~1:4 (9-group).

It acts on the pre-needled web to optimise machine-direction to cross-direction (MD:CD) uniformity before the web goes on to finish needling.
The 5-group setup gives a draft ratio of 1:1~1:3, the 7-group version reaches 1:1~1:3.6, and the 9-group version tops out at 1:1~1:4 — more groups allow a higher maximum draft ratio.
Machine width ranges from 2200~7200mm, selected to match your existing line width.
Yes, the upper roller moves independently to adjust the inter-roller gap, and the draft ratio is precisely fine-tuned and master-calibrated under PLC or servo control.
