The needleboard handling and maintenance range is a set of dedicated tools used to remove, transport, repair and refit the needle boards of a needle loom in a nonwoven line.
Each tool in the range has its own size limits. The maintenance table (NBMT) has a rotating device that flips a board over safely during a needle change, and is built for boards 200 – 380 mm wide and 1,500 – 3,500 mm long, with optional electric height adjustment. The aluminium storage cart (NBS) holds up to 12 boards and accepts boards up to 350 mm wide and up to 1,600 mm long, shielding them on the way between the repair shop and the production floor. The electronically controlled board lift takes up to 2 different board cross sections, stores up to 9 positions, and runs on 4 guide rollers with 2 quick-clamping devices; the needle-removal tool comes with 5 exchangeable working parts.
